S2SGear is the sister company of the globally recognized nonprofit, Sail to Shelter.
Angela grew up in the garment industry in the family business before working with some of the best, including Ralph Lauren, Neiman Marcus, and Restoration Hardware. Her style is classic with a sporty twist and sometimes a touch of whimsy.
A novice sailor and a passion for superyachts, she founded Sail to Shelter after learning that 97% of all sails end up in landfill.
The mission to create change began with maxi sails, transforming them into shade and shelter for humanitarian aid around the world. Last year, her work was recognized by the Superyacht Life Foundation as a 2025 Honour Award recipient, celebrating her commitment to keeping sailcloth out of landfill.
Today, we are thrilled to announce her next pursuit of systemic change. Meet
S2SGear, fashion-forward bags and accessories created with love and made to elevate the mission of keeping all marine materials out of landfill.
